Sporran comes from the Gaelic sporan and Irish sparan, meaning purse or pouch. Part of the traditional dress of the Scottish Highlanders, this leather pouch is meant to be hung on the front of the kilt. This rugged, pebble-grain sporran has a trio of leather tassels decorating the front. This pouch is 6" x 6-1/4" when closed and includes a leather and chain belt adjustable to 49". The approximate weight is 10 oz. The front flap has a snap closure.

A Nice "Day Sporran"
This is a decent, well-made non-formal sporran. The belt was a little short for me, but that was easily corrected, Looks good with a kilt and brwn ghillies or wing-tips.

Killer Sporran.
This has been a great addition to my Renaissance Festival garb. It works with my kilts as well as just being a nice side bag for essential accessories.

This just arrived in the mail. It is of a very fine quality, and also very practical. The sporran's interior is very spacious.
