Upon opening the package, I was thrilled to see that the shield actually exceeded all expectations, being very well made, solid and actually serviceable, should one wish to utilize it in LARP or similar. The only thing keeping it from being perfect is the bolts affixing the grips to the shield itself, very large, modern and stuck on in plain sight, almost as if by afterthought, crush washers and all. Would it keep me from recommending this piece to others? Not in the least!!!
