The last half of the 15th Century saw armor reach its apex in beauty in both form and function. This type of armor would have been a common site on the battlefields of The War of the Roses. Made of 18 gauge steel, these pauldrons offer right and left shoulder protection. Beautifully fluted with open work, these are made to go with our mitten gauntlets (#300226) and German Gothic Cuirass (#300100). Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

An overall good piece, a gambeson is a must because the back edges are very pokey. Had one problem the leather holding the plates together was moldy and weak, after wearing a few times it broke but was an easy fix

The edges are a bit sharp, but overall it seems to do the trick.
