OVERVIEW

Discontinued

This Claymore rests in a museum in Edinburgh, Scotland and is perhaps the most unique sword we have ever offered. For hundreds of years the sword was thought to have belonged to Robert the Bruce and it was only fairly recently that carbon dating proved it to have been made some years after his death. This really only deepens the mystery of this most unusual Scottish weapon.

The pommel is typical, but the quatrefoil guard has three branches! The grip on the original is walrus tusk ivory, which we have faithfully reproduced in a beautiful hardwood. The handle and tang follow the natural curve offered by the shape of the tusk. The stout blade is made from high carbon tempered steel and is fullered. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.  Includes scabbard.

Note: Due to the size, shape and weight of this sword there is an additional $20.00 S/H charge and no Air Shipping available.

Key Measurements:

  • Overall: 59-1/4"
