This handsome Japanese sword is fitted to a mahogany grip and scabbard that are both endowed with beau-
tiful depth and luster. The hand forged blade is from differentially tempered high carbon AISI 1060 steel.
The “mune” (back of blade) is 45° Rockwell and the “ha” (edge) is 58° Rockwell. The “hamon” (temper line)
