The magnificent Schiavona style sword was truly the
favorite weapon of choice of Venetian mercenaries.
Our version is a true work of art. This sword has been
hand forged in 1065 high carbon steel by
Windlass
Steelcrafts
®
. The guard, along with the scabbard fittings has been darkened to a
battle finish. Soft, rich black leather wraps the handle, and an antique brass pom-
mel finish off the grip. However, it is the 26 intricate, antique brass florets adorn-
ing the guard that truly enhance this sword. A floral engraving on the throat and
tip of the black leather scabbard are also beautiful finishing touches.
