Madonna nailed the monk look at Met Gala

Well, a few weeks ago we were contacted by Vogue Magazine and were told they needed a bunch of our (Museum Replicas Limited) Monk's Robes. Never in my wildest dreams did I think they would be worn at a surprise post-dinner performance at the Met Gala by Madonna, herself, along with a host of back-up singers! They looked GREAT!
The Queen of Pop appeared on the steps of the Met Museum's Great Hall, incognito in the monk's cloak and surrounded by a choir of singing monks before taking off her hood and singing her 1989 smash "Like a Prayer" and later closed the performance with a rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". A fitting conclusion to a night that celebrated saints and sinners.
The gala, a star-studded fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, was this year themed around "Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination".
I guess you'll never know where our period clothing will wind up next?
