Coins of this type date between 250 BC and 100 BC. The face of the coin is of Alexander the Great adorned with the horns of a ram, or Ammon. This same belief was later introduced to the Romans who worshiped Ammon as the preserver of nature. The reverse side has the goddess Athena dressed for war. This beautiful piece measures 1" across and comes complete with a 20" neck chain. Coin and chain are finished in an antiqued nickel finish. Collector display box included.

You may return, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
