Kingston Arms
CAS Iberia presents Kingston Arms, a series of historical, reliable, durable, and authentic reproductions of history’s finest swords.
From the battlefields of Crecy to the theatres of Shakespeare and beyond, you will find no finer swords crafted for the practitioners and aficionados of the European Sword. These sharp swords are made to period-accurate specifications from pommel to tip and all in between. Re-enactment, stage combat, and HEMA sparring swords are their specialty! Featuring innovations such as the King-Peen system and tough through-hardened spring steel blades, these swords will last for years of use under the most demanding conditions
The Tourney series features blunt reenactment and stage swords safe for combat fighting which ring like a bell when struck. The blades are hand forged from 9260 spring steel and well tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 50Hrc. The edges are at least 2mm thick and rounded for safety. The guard and pommel are finely cast stone-washed stainless steel for a long-lasting finish that will look good for years worth of battles. The guards feature the King-Peen system - a thick tab of steel is cast with the guard and then riveted in place to the tang under the grip. This method provides an exceptional connection between the guard and blade and keeps the sword ringing like a bell. The grip is an ergonomically shaped hardwood core wrapped in cord for strength with cord-embossed leather over top. This composite grip construction is not only historically accurate but also long-lasting and maintenance-friendly.
