The original Suontaka sword was found in a woman's grave in Finland. The grave dates from C 1100AD, however the sword form suggests a much earlier date of origin, possibly as early as mid 10th Century AD.
Our stunning version of this piece features a highly detailed knotwork pommel, guard, grip band and inserts. All have been lavishly plated in rich copper. The tough 1080 high carbon steel blade has a full tang and is fully tempered, then peened over the pommel. The sword comes complete with a rich leather scabbard and matching copper fittings and sports a baldric for wearing this powerful piece. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts and comes factory sharp.

Returns Policy
You may return, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
